Recently, Tianyi Company successfully delivered to the client a newly developed, specialized electric permanent‑magnet direct‑drive top drive system for super‑single‑string truck‑mounted automated drilling rigs. The equipment has also undergone successful trial runs and has received high praise and unanimous acclaim from the client. This top drive breaks with conventional design principles by adopting an integrated, modular architecture; once well completion is achieved, there is no need to dismantle the unit, thereby reducing the number of moves and associated time, significantly shortening the relocation cycle and boosting overall workover efficiency. Moreover, the company’s proprietary PLC program can be custom‑developed to meet specific user and site requirements, ensuring optimal performance in drilling and workover operations. Additionally, enhanced safety features have been incorporated, enabling the top drive to operate more stably during workover tasks, with exceptionally promising prospects ahead.
