2019

The DQ70 top drive, in service for Sinopec, completed drilling of the Shunbei Ying-1 well, which reached a depth of 8,588 meters and once held the record for the deepest onshore well in Asia.

2016

The domestically developed D-Guider rotary steerable drilling system has successfully passed product certification.

2014

A limited liability company, “TPES-SERVICE,” was registered in Russia;

2011

Developed a 750-ton top drive, a hydraulic top drive, a rotary drill rig, and a top-drive casing‑running system.

2009

Develop a top drive for deviated and vertical wells;

2008

Developed and manufactured the first cryogenic top drive;

2007

Develop a rotary steerable drilling system with direct drive;

2006

Panjin Liaohe Oilfield Tianyi Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established, commencing the production and sales of its own-brand top drives. In the same year, it developed and, by year’s end, began manufacturing a 500‑ton capacity top drive.

2005

Following the appraisal of the 250‑ton top drive by PetroChina’s expert panel, a 350‑ton top drive was developed in the same year.

2004

The first 250-ton top drive was manufactured and subjected to well‑site testing.

2003

Established the Tianyi Top Drive Branch Company to develop and manufacture the 250T series top drives.

2002

Establish a project team and collaborate with the China Academy of Surveying and Mapping to develop the 250T series top drive.
