The 2017 Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition was hosted by the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum. Since its inception in 1995, the event has steadily grown in scale and has now become the largest and most influential exhibition for oil, gas, and petrochemical equipment in Iran and the broader Middle East, with an exceptionally extensive footprint. Iran boasts abundant hydrocarbon resources, ranking fourth globally in proven crude oil reserves and second worldwide in natural gas reserves. It is the world’s fourth-largest oil exporter, and China has emerged as one of Iran’s key trading partners.
　　Panjin Liaohe Oilfield Tianyi Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd. participated in this major event as part of Liaoning’s equipment‑manufacturing sector, under the leadership of the provincial authorities. During the exhibition, Tianyi Petroleum Equipment engaged in discussions with local Iranian drilling firms, rig manufacturers, and equipment suppliers, welcoming a large number of Iranian clients to its booth for visits and negotiations. Among the attendees were several prominent local drilling companies, including GPT, DANA, MAPNA, NIDC, NDCO, and OSTOVANKISH, who toured our exhibit. Through these interactions, we gained valuable insights into customers’ requirements for top drives. Additionally, we have maintained long‑term, stable cooperative ties with Iran’s TAIECO, encompassing both the rental of Tianyi top drives and joint production collaborations.
　　Approximately 200 Chinese companies are participating in this exhibition. Iran is a key player in the oil and petrochemical sectors, and China and Iran enjoy a strong tradition of cooperation in these fields. Moreover, Iran is an important country along the Belt and Road Initiative. Through this event, we have gained a deeper understanding of the local market environment, identified customer needs, engaged in effective communication and dialogue, and worked to introduce the Tianyi brand to the Iranian market.
